During a particularly difficult period in my life when I was trying to make sense of the behavior of several high-conflict personalities, I created a series of documents to record what they had done by topic and date. With every Record of Events (ROE) document that I prepared, I began to see with growing clarity that the individual actions I had been excusing as random offenses were actually part of a much larger plan to benefit themselves at the expense of others. Ever since, I have found it helpful to follow this same practice when trying to make sense out of current events I know little to nothing about, and I share my findings here in the hope that it will benefit others who also want to be better informed about what is going on in our country and the world.
